The Mar Mac Volunteer Fire Department is located south of  the city of Goldsboro, North Carolina. The district consist of
residential subdivisions, rural farm areas, and light industry. Total coverage is approximately sixteen square miles. Our
apparatus consist of two engines in which one can serve as a tanker, a brush truck, tanker, utility/command truck, first
responder vehicle and a boat for water rescue. Our membership consist of all volunteers. Mar Mac VFD provides fire
suppression, rescue and EMS.  Mar Mac provides automatic and mutual aid to surrounding districts, the city of Goldsboro
and Seymour Johnson AFB when needed.

Our members are trained in haz-mat and water rescue. Mar Mac also has active first responder teams who are certified at
the medical responder through EMT level. Personnel receive training in-house, through Wayne Community College fire
and rescue courses, as well as training provided by other districts and North Carolina state fire college.

Mar Mac VFD is a member of the Wayne County Firemen's Association, North Carolina State Firemen's Association and
the Eastern Carolina Association of Fire Chiefs. Our mailing address is 583 Old Grantham Rd. Goldsboro, NC 27530.
